I am fascinated with Greek philosophers right now. I came across Parmenides and his pupil Zeno. They once went to Athens where they had an argument with Pythagoras' followers. To counter the Pythagoreans' belief of plurality, Zeno created four paradoxes that rendered common sense as not so "sensical" therefore exposing the weakness of the idea of change and flux. How did Pythagoras' followers answered the four paradoxes? Are there any modern explanations to Zeno's paradoxes?
