What good walking boots would go with skinny jeans?

Hi I'm always wearing skinny jeans, normally with military boots or Bearpaw (ugg style) boots but these are no good for long walks with my dog because I can feel every stone walked on, can anyone recommend a good reasonably priced pair of boots that will look good with skinnys? Thanks
