Has anyone heard about the war in Sri Lanka? What do you think?

I'm from Sri Lanka, but I've lived in the US most of my life. It annoys me when people don't even know where Sri Lanka is or even know the fact that there's a civil war going on there! Innocent civilians there are dieing for no reason every day and it's been happening since 1986! There is genocide going on there. The government are not giving equal opportunities for the tamil sri lankans, which is the minority culture there and which is what i am. The LTTE(Liberation Tigers of Tamil eelam), who are fighting for the minority culture and the Sri Lankan government are the two opponents. And the LTTE are NOT terrorists!!! I just want more people to know about whats going on in Sri Lanka. if you know about this war in sri lanka, please give your opinions...and if its negative don't say it in a horrible way please.
