Why would any contender want Terrell Owens at this point in his career?

Weapon X: The only answer I can come up with is that the guy shows up. Remember, the Super Bowl against New England, he comes back from injury, leaves his guts out on the field, and if the Eagles would have won, he would have surely been MVP of that game. On the flip side, to add to your list of negatives, TO also went public after that Super Bowl and said something to the effect that McNabb got so nervous in the fourth quarter he couldn't even speak to call the plays in the huddle. He's worth the risk for a team built to win "now" as they like to say.
