Can a lot of semen come out of my the day after ?

I am just wondering. I believe I am ovulating (I don't want to mistake semen for my own bodily fluids. I don't want to get my hopes up too much since we are trying to get pregnant & have had a hard time). I had last night & cleaned myself up & walked around before going to bed. This morning, after peeing, I had a very stretchy mucus-like substance that came onto my hand (long, stringy & stretchy & clear-white). I know it could be my own fluids, but would that much semen actually come out of the the day after ?
